Participation

Delegates and registrants in WIREC 2008 will receive participation credentials in one of the following three categories:

1. WIREC Government Delegates
2. WIREC Non-Governmental Delegates
3. Trade Show & Expo Registrants

1. WIREC 2008 Government Delegates
   
   Government delegates will recieve invitations to participate from the U.S. Department of State, totalling about 1,200.
   
   
2. WIREC 2008 Non-Governmental Delegates
   
   A limited number of approximately 800 non-governmental delegate spaces will be available for civil society and private sector participants. Application to be accepted to a Non-Governmental Delegate will be accepted in the Fall of 2007.
   
   
3. Business Conference & Expo Registrants
   
   Registrants at the WIREC Business Conference and Expo will be invited to join the Side Events, as well as social and professional receptions and events held in conjunction with the Official government meeting.
   
   An objective of co-locating the official government meeting and the business conference and exposition is to host interchange between the two groups.
